REEFTON, April 2

The Bishop of Nelson (Right Rev. J. Stephenson) will visit Reefton, during the week-end, and is to conduct services at St. Stephen’s Church. He will also visit several country centres. Rev. L. T. Norwell, who has been in charge of "Wesley Methodist Church, Reef ton, has been transferred to Milton, and will leave for his new charge, shortly. Miss P. Lawn is visiting relations in Christchurch. . Advice has been received that Lieutenant L. Park has received his promotion to the rank of captain. Miss N. O’Flaherty, who has been in Nelson, has returned home, having accepted a position in Reef ton. Mr. W. Bissett, who has. been an inmate of hospital in Christchurch, i has returned home. I Mrs.. J. and Miss L. King who have been on holiday have returned to Reefton. . . ... , Sergt. Major Rowe is visiting Reef ton as a specialist instructor lor Home Guard units.
