W. MALONEY’S SUCCESS
Favourable conditions were experienced for the annual Blackball Sports held at the School grounds on Saturday, and there was a large attendance. The principal axemen’s event was won by W. Maloney who was also placed second in the upright chop. Numerous novelty events and races for the children completed an interesting programme. The results oi the principal events were as follow:— 14 inch Underhand Chop (15 entries): —W. Maloney (15 secs.). 1; ATalbot (12 secs.) 2; B. Hale (5 secs.)
