TURKS ARREST GERMANS. ISTANBUL, November 18. Eight Germans, including a. woman, have been arrested on suspicion of engaging in Nazi propaganda and espionage. SWISS NEUTRALITY. LONDON, November’ 18. Swiss soldiers have by their Government been forbidden to fight abroad, so as not to compromise the neutrality of their country. Switzerland has obtained from neutral countries ships to carry on her transport,. and the belligerent Powers have guaranteed the safety of these ships. GERMAN PRISONERS DIE. LONDON, November 18. The War Office announced the names of nine German war prisoners who died and of which Germany has been informed in wireless broadcasts. Six died at sea, two were shot down from the air at Dalkeith on October 28, and one was killed in the raid on the Firth of Forth on October 16. ESCAPEES RECAPTURED. LONDON, November 18. Three khaki-clad German submarine seamen aged 15 to 17 escaped through a barbed-wire fence from an internment camp in East Scotland. They were unable to speak English and were without monej’ and food. They were recaptured. JOURNALIST LEAVES GERMANY. BERLIN, November 19. Mr. Beech Conger, the Berlin correspondent of the “New York HeraldTribune.” has left Germany voluntarily, after the authorities refused him transmission facilities or access to Press conferences because he was alleged to have sent messages which did not please the Nazis.
