This is challenged, in Invel’cargill The message stated that Miss Stacpole had broken the record of 77 4-5 seconds held by t Miss Joyce MacDonald, of Invercargill, by three-fifths of a. second. it. is pointed out that Miss MacDonaldwbeat her own time ot 77 4-5 seconds at Gisborne, on March 21. when she was timed to do 76 1-5 seconds, which is one second faster than the time credited’ to Miss Stacpole. Miss MacDonald’s time at. Gisborne also beat the senior record ot 76 2-5 seconds, held by Miss Ena Stockley. GOLF. LONDON. April 26. An unknown Nottingham player, J.
