Angas of the Canterbury title, which Angas has held for many years, when the two met in the semi-final of the men’s singles event in the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s Championship Tournament to-day. Canterbury has a. reprt tentative in the finals, however, for P. A. Barnett, who has been runner-up to Angas on many occasions. decisively beat Brown’s team-mate. J. T. Mayson.
