WEDDING

STREET—PHILLIPS. The ewedding was celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, at the Westport Methodist Church, of George Frederic Mason, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Street, of Peel Street, Cobden, and Rema Maud, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Leri Phillips, Brougham Street, Westport. Rev. R. Larson officiated.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore white needle-run lace over a satin slip.' The frock was modelled on .slim-fitting lines with a “V” neck and skirt formed to make a, train. The sleeves were tight fitting, .with white satin buttons to the elbow. Her silk embroidered tulle veil /was held in place by. a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of pink, and ’white roses and asparagus fern.

The bridesmaid, Mis-s Jean Phillips, sister of tho bride,' wore a pale pink lace redingote over a pink satin slip, with headband to match. Her bouquet was of pink roses' and asparagus fern. The best man was Mr Esmond Street, brother, of the groom. - The reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, where the guests werp received by the bride’s and bridegroom’s mothers." The bride travelled in a grey swagger ensemble, with hat and shoes to match. Mr and Mrs Street left by car for Dunedin. They will reside in Nelson.
