CBY CABLE —PBESB ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] TRAMS COLLIDE. SYDNEY, June 22. Twenty persons were sent to the hospital, three in a serious condition, as the result of a collision involving three trams at Bondi late last evening, during heavy rain. A tram driver and conductor were trapped in the wreckage, and were extricated by men with axes and crowbars. HEAVY RAIN. SYDNEY, June 21. The coastal’ areas of New South Wales are threatened by heavy floods as the result of the torrential weekend rain, which is continuing.
