Australia, and South Africa expressed a desire Io present their Majesties with a painting of the Coronation ceremony, by F. A. Salisbury, “as a tribute of loyalty and affection from the peoples of the Dominions whom they represent." They received a reply as follows: “Their .Majesties sincerely appreciate l ho sentiments prompting the kind offer which they accept with the utmost i gratification.” j
GIFTS FROM NEW ZEALAND LONDON. June 21. Mr. Savage and Mr Jordan visited the Admiralty and made a presentation from an anonymous New Zealander of Nelson's quadrant and Ilardv's sextant. The Board thanked the donor for the gifts which are being placed on His Majesty’s ship. Victory. The gifts will bo placed in the Victory's museum. They were purchased at a sale at Christie’s in 1930.
