INDIANS V. HOROWHENUA. [PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] OTAKI, May 30. Revealing a high standard of play, the All India hockey team delighted a large crowd to-day, when they defeated Horowhenua by 16 goals to nil. The winners had a perfect understanding, particularly in the forward line. Almost uncanny stick work was ah outstanding feature of the visitors’ display. Brilliant play was witnessed throughout. Dhyan Chand scored eight goals. Rup Singh seven, and Davidson one.
