DUNOLLIE MEETING The Dunollie Whippet Club held a meeting at their track yesterday afternoon, and there was a fair attendance. ‘ Considering the recent bad weather the track was in fairly good order, and the times were good. The results were:. — Maiden Handicap—Pretty Peter 1, Black Dust 2, Snow Belle 3. Also started: Le Royale, Windsor Lass. Won by a head. Time 12 2-5 sec. Hurdles. —Flowing Gold 1, Britomartis 2, Lenin 3. Also started: Jonah (ran off). Won by 11 yards. Time 14 1Middleweight Handicap—Britomartis 1, Eight Stone Eight 2, Black Dust 3. Also started: Pretty Peter, Spicey. Jonah, Red Terror. A good finish, all dogs being well up. Time 12. 2Lightweight—Nicey 1, Le Royale 2, Snow Belle 3. Won by two lengths; a length between second and third. Time 13 l-ssec. Open Handicap: First heat —Britomartis 1, Orion 2, Eight Stone Eight 3. Also started: Spicey, Jonah, Red Terror. Won comfortably with rest of the field bunched. Time 11 l-ssec. Second heat —Flowing Gold 1, Lonely Maid 2, Lenin 3. Also started: Spring Boy, Pretty Peter. Won by half a length, with heads between the rest of the field. Final: Flowing Gold 1, Britomartis 2, Lonely Maid 3. Also started: Orion. Orion went away badly and tailed the field. In a great finish, only the judge could separate the first and second dogs. Lonely Maid was 11 lengths back.
