[O T 7B OWN COBRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, September 3. Dr. R. A. Marshall, who has severed his connection with the Inangahua Hospital, was entertained by the Matron and nursing staff before leaving Reefton. Mr J. B. Auld presided, and in handing the doctor a ■wallet wished him every success. Dr. Marshall suitably responded. Music and dancing were, enjoyed. Dr. Marshall left Reefton on Saturday en route for Blenheim and Christchurch to Dunedin, his home, where after a short stay, he leaves for Auckland, sailing thence for London on September 20. The annual meeting of the Golden Coast Co-operative Dairy Company was held at Reefton on Saturday and was well attended. The annual report showed that the company had enjoyed an increased output, and had a good year despite the low price for their product. Mrs Magee and Miss Greta and Mr Ron. Magee left on Saturday for Dunedin, where they will reside. After a wild day on Saturday which kept people confined to their homes, Sunday broke beautifully fine and warm, and football fixtures, and all outdoor sports were played under ideal conditions, though a fresh fall of snow is down on the ranges and the wind is keen. At the Reefton Racecourse on Sunday, Waratah seniors met Reefton. Reef ton won the match, the scores being 17 to 13. Mr W. Parsonage was the referee. *
