Mitchell (Balclutha) by 666 to 297, the game taking two hours. 35 minutes. Included in Lindsay’s score were breaks of 36, 33, 44 and 46. A. Bowie (Dunedin) beat L. Beal (Dunedin) by 666 to 345. Bowie made a break of 98, mostly in off the red, and others of 55, 46 and 39. Beal’s score included a 31 break. The game occupied two hours 16 minutes. ' TENNIS. LOS ANGELES, September 18. In exhibition tennis play, Perry (England) defeated Satoh (Japan) 4/6, 6/4, 6/1. Vines (U.S.A.), defeated Kuwabara (Japan) 3/6, 6/3, 6/3. Austin (England) and Gledhill (California) defeated Van Ryn (U.S.A.’ and Stefani (Italy) 6/3, 4/6, 6/1.
