POLES FIRE ON INTRUDERS.

A serious Polish-Lithuanian frontier incident occurred near Lake Duksky, There the Lithuanian frontier troops, under cover of darkness, transported the frontier posts two hundred feet Into Polish territory, from which they were then repeatedly machine-gunned by the Polish frontier guards. Poland is now despatching a special Investigating Commission to the scene and is also protesting to the League of Nations.
