LEICESTER SQUARE TRAGEDY.

(Received August 11, 8 a.m.) LONDON, August 10.

Theatre crowds wattfhing a fire late at night at the Turkish baths next to the Alhambra, Leicester Square, saw a woman leave the sixth storey window,, and cling to Hip letter R, on the Turkish Bath sign, until rescued by the fire escape.

Another exciting incident. wa,s when firemen, overcome by heat, fell from a ladder. A woman’s, charred body was found on the fourth floor, when the flames were mastered. The Alhambra was saved from the flames.
