Oarsmen in training for the Empire Games continue to do good work, the weather being favourable and the water smooth. r fhe work done so far has been of a trying-out nature, with a view to picking out men for various positions in the boat. All the men are in good form, and showing marked improvement in rowing, which should reach a high standard before the crew leave here at the end of next month. SOCCER. The following will represent Cobden in their match with Greymouth on Saturday at Cobden: Airns, Jackson, Cowe, Bennett, Cameron, Cowe, Maughan, Durning, McNeil, Wilson, Tinnion.
