MISSING SOLICITOR

LAW SOCIETY TAKES ACTION. (Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 28. The Canterbury. Law Society decided recently to take action in an endeavour to bring to justice J. B. Batchelor, the missing solicitor, for whose arrest a warrant has been issued on charges o£ having misappropriated trust funds. It is believed Batchelor is in Australia.

Individual members of the Society, acting through the President, Mr. K. Neave, have deposited with the police authorities sufficient money; to cover the cost of bringing Batchelor from Australia, if he is found.
