AT OTHER CENTRES Wanganui: S.E. breeze, overcast, tides moderate, sea moderate; rain 20 pts.; Wellington: S.E. fresh breeze, overcast, rain Ipt.; Westport: S.E. light wind, blue sky, tides moderate, sea smooth; Arthur’s Pass: N.W. light, wind, blue sky, hard frost; Christchurch: S.W. light breeze, blue sky; Dunedin: N.E. light wind, blue sky, tides good. WEATHER FORECAST. “The indications are for south-easterly winds, moderate to strong. Weather probably cold and changeable. Barometer unsteady. Seas considerable and tides moderate.”
