ADV ERTISEMENTS WITHDRAWN. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, March 6. Mr. Raymond, proprietor of the '‘lmperial Goods” Journal, • has brought an, action in the High Court, claiming damages against the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Coy. and Mr. Wright, its European agent, for ■allegedly procuring the withdrawal of two "advertisements from the journal. Plaintiff’s counsel, in opening the case, said that. Wright took exception to a statement in an ai-ticle in the journal, saying that his company got a premium of 2s per cwt. on butter. Wright threatened to cause the withdrawal of the advertisements of two firms selling butter, and they subsequently were withdrawn. Mr. Raymond, giving evidence, said be believed, from information which he obtained, that the advantage of the 2s premium had not accrued to the butter producers. The hearing was adjourned.
