CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW. V St. John’s Horticultural Society held its quarterly meeting last evening when y arrangements were made for the forthcoming Chrysanthemum Show. It was decided to hold the Show on Thursday, May 14. As the culture of chrysanthemums is becoming a marked feature of the Coast gardens, it was felt desirable to get an outside judge. The Cobden and Runanga Shows agreed to share the expense, so it was decided to write t-o a well-known grower in, Christchurch., who. it is hoped, will come over to judge and give hints to growers. Everything points to a good Show for the flowers are doing well. A silver cup will be donated for the mosft points gained in chrysanthemums. /
