A good floor and a supper that leaves little to be desired is being specially prepared for the kiddies. TUG-OF-WAR. The following nominations have been received for the tug-of-war carnival, in aid of the Swimming Bath Funds: — Union Hotel. Railway Workshops (2), Foundry, Kotuku, Stars, Australasian Hotel, Park Hotel, Bebans, Fire Brigade, Maintenance (Railway), Railway Hotel Steel’s team. The committee have decided to extend the nominations till Saturday - evening. A platform, with cleats, will be erected at the Star Hall for of competitors on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, from 7 o’clock, for training purposes.
