In consequence of Mr A. Crooke leaving for Wanganui on Monday night, Mr J. G .L. Hewitt will preside at the sit 1 ings of the Magistrate’s and Warden’s Courts on Monday and Tuesday nextThe members of the legal profession are not going to permit Mr Crooke to depart from Greymouth without according him a suitable send-off, but are waiting to ascertain if Mr M. Hannan will return on Monday before definitely fixing the time.
