WEDDING.
TAYLOR —MULES. 'A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Chapel of Holy Evangelists Bishopdale, Nelson, on Wednesday, June 21st, the contracting parties being the Rev. T. F. Taylor, Vicar of Grey Valley and Brunner, and Miss Nellie Mules, only daughter of His Lordship the Bishop of Nelson and Mrs Mules. The ceremony was performed by the bride’s father, assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Baker, of Brightwater, and the Rev J. P. Kempthorne, Vicar of Christchurch, The bride, who was given away by her brother, the Rev' E. K. Mules, of Otira, was dressed in cream silk, trimmed with lace, and she wore the usual wreath and veil and carried a shower bouquet- The Misses Blakiston (Otaki) and Sclanders, Nelson, were the bridesmaids. they were attired in white serge coats and skirts, with black hats, trimmed with pink roses. Mrs Mules, mother of the bride, wore black silk, trimmed with cream, and a ruby velvet bonnet- She carried a bouquet of pink heath. Mr J. Houlker, of Nelson, acted as best man. The bride’s going-away dress was a navy coat and skirt, with hat to match.
