Although the retail bottle licenser closed yesterday, those who wish to purchase their wine, beer or spirits by the bottle instead of the case, may still do so at the shop specially constructed for this purpose at Bevington’s Hotel, Tab nui Street. The best brands are stocked and will be sold at the usual retail prices. The members of the Grey-Cobden Industrial Building Society are reminded that the usual fortnightly payment is due and payable this evening at the usual time at the office of Messrs Mark Sprot and Co. It is the intention of the Society’s Directors to appropriate £3OO in the course of the next fortnight. Members should take this opportunity of making good all arrears. / J. H. The furniture is all new and is one of the best lines offered in Greymouth for many years. The sale will commence punctually at two o’clock on Wednesday, as the entry is a heavy one and the auctioneers are anxious to get through before dark.
