FOLEY’S PICTURES.
An exchange says of the above company’s appearance in a northern town : Fred Foley’s Pictures were exhibited in the Olympic Theatre, Pahiatua last night to, a full house. The audience included*a very large proportion of children all of whom enjoyed the programme of diversified cinematograph studies with evident appreciation. 'The film showing the American fleet and the celebrations in connection with Admiral Sperry’s reception in Sydney was well executed. There was plenty of fun in the programme, the comic subjects being clever and diverting to a degree. Mr Foley is a clever magician and ventriloquist and gave two turns which delighted old and young alike. Mr Lupton sang several illustrated songs in a manner which gave entire satisfaction. The company opens at Westport next week.
