WEDDING BELLS.
JOHNSTON—ANDERSON. A very interesting wedding was solemnized at Wesley Church at Reef ton yesterday when Miss Agnes Anderson, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs D. M. Anderson, Glenburnie, Inangahua, was united to Mr A. G. Johnson, of Nelson. Mr Anderson being one of our first settlers in the Inangahua, the family enjoy the esteem of a wide circle of friends and the gathering at the ceremony was exceptionally large. The Rev Anderson, undo of the bride, was the officiating minister, assisted by the Rev T. Newbold. The bi’ide was given away by her father, and looked very happy. She was dressed in white silk and wore the usual wreath and veil. Miss E. Roberts was her bridesmaid and wore white. Mr G. Anderson acted as best man . After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the parent’s residence Glenburnie, where the wedding breakfast was served and a large number of friends congratulated the young people. The bride’s travelling dress was a navy blue cloth with white vest. Mr and Mrs Johnson left by the afternoon train on route for Nelson their future homes
