DEAD IN OFFICE
BANK MANAGER FOUND SHOT FORMERLY IN AUCKLAND (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Brisbane, Aug. 9. A sensation was caused in Brisbane banking circles to-day, when it was learned that the Manager of tlie Commercial Bank of Australia. Mr. C. E. Carr, bad been found dead in liis office with a bullet woun I in his head. Mr. Carr came from Auckland live years ago to tlie managership of tlio Brisbane branch of this bank.
