The pipes will replace a line of five-inch pipes at* present serving part of thi s , street. Th c y will link up with the main along main street to Derby Street, and with an additional connection at York street, should giv e a Tietter pressure along the Makino road and 011 the higher levels in West street. It is expected the pipes will he here in a couple of months and the job will provide some work for the winter.
