Sir\ John Snuon, interviewed on his return to London from Qenevs, said a good beginning hud been made at the Disarmament Conference. There was a. general feeling that the Geneva Conference would lead to more tangible results than was originally expected in some quarters there. There is new a probability that the general discussion, formerly anticipated to drag on until Faster, will lie concluded within a fortnight, thus enable# the sub-committee to get to work.
