BRITISH CONSERVATIVE WHIPS ANNOYED

The Conservative Whips are annoyed at the laxity of the atten. dance of tho rank and file of the parly.
They point out, that they missed a rai'o opportunity on Thursday night to defeat the Government Pensions Bill amendment.
Only 1*33 out of ICO Conservatives were present, otherwise the Government would easily have been defeated, beea,use hi Liberals voted solidly against it.
