CANTERBURY SEASON.
DELAYED BY RAINS AND COLD (Per Press Association) Christchurch, Nov. 22. The recent rains and spells of cold weather experienced in Canterbury have had the effect of delaying the opening of the freezing season, by a week and possibly a fortnight. Until the works open on either December 6 or 18, it is impossible to say what the position will he locally in regard' to the freezing-workers’ dispute.
