Several factors, have tp, be taken into account in considering the reduction in prices realised for stock, and among them are the fall in the price of wool, the greatly augmented South American exports of chilled beef to England, also the dislocation of trade caused by the overseas shipping strike in Australia and New Zea_ land . Heavy shipments of Australian Jamb, that should have been dispatch, ed much earlier in the season, are now coming oil to the market, causing it to sag. The lessened return to the Now Zealand producer this season will represent roughly 7s on lambs and 10s on sheep.
