JOCKEY KILLED.
(Per Pr&ss Association.) Oamaru, May 21. War Tax fell in the Pacific Hurdles at the North Otago Jockey Club s Winter Meeting yesterday, and- the rider, Frank Falconer, of Greymouth, suffered severe injuries, being picked up unconscious. Falconer died in the hospital at midday to-day. Deceased was about 40 years of age, and married, with two children.
