THE AUCKLAND MEETING.

Auckland, April 18. The A.R.C. Autumn Meeting is being concluded to-day in fine weather and with a good attendance. Results : —

Maiden Hurdles. —Don Quex 1 Celtic Miss 2, Explosition 3. All started. Don Quex went to the front when seven furlongs from home, and Avas never afterwards troubles, winning easily by three lengths. Time, 3.22. In the Maiden Hunters' Handicap, Excalibur fell and his rider, A. Gray, sustained serious injuries to his head. He was taken to the hospital unconscious.

Onslow Stakes.—Wolcester 1, HarTigan 2, Seawai 3. All started. .Wolcester Avas in front all the way, and won by a length, three lengths between second and third. Time, 1.2.
