THE FEILDING RACES.
SUCCESS OF SECOND DAY
There was again a large croAvd for the second day of the Feilding Races, although the weather Avas cold and the sky dull, and threatening. All the Jockey Club's appointments were A r ery complete, the course was in ideal condition, and the races were got off in good time. Totalisator investments were, as on the first day, heavy, and showed a substantial increase on last year's figures. The folloAving were the results of the racing up to the time of going to x>ress;

McDonald.) - From a fair start Wairouru and Tigerine were the first to show out, with St. Toney third. The latter crept up to second place, and after keeping there for some distance led into the straight, Avith Waiouru second. Clemora came at the leader, but Tony dreiv out and Avon by half a length. Also ran: Ileumac 9.2 (W. Young), Ladrone 8.13 (C. Price), Valentine 8.9 (F. Colma-ii), Waitoto 8.6 (J. Morris), Merrie Valet 8.4 (C. Jenkins), Projectile 8.1 (R. EdAvards), Bandolero 7.10 (E. Lowe). A good start Avas effected, and past the stand the first time Cork, Contour Ileumac and Ladrone Avere in the van. Cork increased his lead round the back, Avith Valentine, Contour and Stevens next. The positions Avere the same in the straight. Won by three lengths, half a length between Contour and Stevens. Ladrone Avas fourth. Time, 1.48.
KIMBOLTON HURDLES, of loOsov, second horse 20, third horse 10 from the stake. One mile and threequarters.

The four starters Avent aAvay together, Winchester being the first to show out, with Marton, Hydrant, and Xavier in that order. That Avas the position for a mfde and a half, but coming down th 6 straight Marton put in his run, and passed the post a length to the good, Winchester beatmo- Hydrant by four lengths. Time, 3.18 4-5.
OROUA HACK HURDLES, of 100 soa's, second horse 20, third horse 10 soys. One mile and a half. Mr T. H. Simpson's br.g. "Puketotara, oyrs, by The Officer— _. Tawera, 9.0 (C. Price) 1 Messrs Costello and Jones' b.g. Burton, aged, by St. Clements —Waihi, 9.12 (J. O'Connell) 2 Mr T. Limbrick's b.m. All Trumps, aged, by The Officer—Queen ot Trumps, 9.0 (J. GaAyith) 3 Also ran: Canadian 10.3 (E. Abbott), Leolanter 9.13 (N. Campbell). Puketotara fleAv aAvay, followed by Leolanter, Burton, Canadian and All Trumps, spread out. Leolanter fell in front of the stand, and the jockey (N. Campbell) was carried m unconscious. Puketotara, Burton, and All Trumps were in that order to the finish. Canadian pulling out. Won. by three-quarters of a length. AJI Trumps a bad third. Time, 2.54 4-5.
