The Aveather is fine, the course in good order, and the attendance large for the C.J.C. meeting's second day. Results: —
PeersAvick Hurdles. —Dorando 1, old Pin 2, Gold Bird 3. Full of Trumps was scratched. Won by a length. Time, 3.21 2-5. Autumn Nursery Handicap.—Culprit 1, Aphea 2, Avarice 3. All started. Won by 4£ lengths, a length separating the second and third horses. _ Time, 1.2.
