In the third and final course for the Sayonara Cup—ten miles to windward—there was a back wind and li<rht sea. "The Sayonara—Victoria's defender—took the lead almost from the start, steadily widening the gap separating the contestants. The Sayonaro rounded the buoy 7min. fOsec. ahead of the Culwalla 111. (the New South Wales defender). The homo journey was made with a fresh wind astern, the Sayonara finishing 13min. 22sec. to the good. This is a minute 'and a half more .than the time allowance she could be asked to give the Culwulla. Having won two out of the three courses, the Sayonara is again -victorious.
