v Telegraph. Press Association. Copyright Westport, July 24. At a meeting of band delegates and citizens on Saturday night, it was decided to hold a West Coast Band Contest on November 9th and 10th. The Buller Rugby Union has been advised that the rep. team match with Wellington maybe played if the weather if favourable at Wellingon the same day as and prior to the match New Zealand v. Britain. The coal output for the last week was 14,181 tons 11 cwt., of which 987 tons 8 cwt. were from the Seddonville State mine, and 13,194 tons 3 cwt. from the Westport Coal Go.'s mine. _;
