Telegraph Press Association Copyright Wellington, This Day. The North Island Bowling Association has decided to ask the Gisborrie Club if it will take charge of the Championship Fours meeting, which is to be held in January next. That Club has already made overtures on the subject, and it is almost certain the tournament will be played on its greens. The Council also decided . that an ordinary tournament should be held in Wellington in January, 1906. A legal opinion is to be obtained by the Council as to whether bowling clubs can secure exemption from municipal rates, water rates excepted.
