FOOTBALL NEWS.

* The Committee of the White Star Football Club met last evening. Mr A. Durie was elected Hon. Secretary. It was decided to play a return match with Halcorabe to-morrow, at Halcombe, play to commence at 3 p.m. The following will represent the Club: — Watts, Stitt, Durie, Smith, Baker, Haybittle, Dunn, Reid, Hicks (2), Munro, Bishop, Rosornan, McFarlane, Morphy, Fowles, Heald. A brake will leave the square at 1.30 sharp. The following have been chosen to represent Sandon v. Rata on Wednesday 11th inst. at Sandon : —Baker, Morgan, Dermer, Speedy, Richardson, McKenzie, Thompson, Henderson, McNae (3), Williams (2), McIntyre (2).
