SAILORS IN COURT.

« Telegraph. Press Association Copyright Wanganui, April 15. The crew of the brigantine Enterprise, which was to have sailed last night, refused duty and warrants have been issued for their arrest. The men complain that the forecastle is leaky, and that during a fortnight at sea, from Timaru to Wanganui, never had been dry. They have no desire for a survey of the ship, but want their discharge. The Captain asserts that the men who were shipped at Timaru and Dunedin, have little cause for complaint, and says they are new chums and were all sick on the voyage up. He has ordered a survey to be made. The S.M, Mr Kettle, went down to the ship to try and settle the dispute amicably, but the men said they would refuse to go to sea.
