SOLDIERS ON LEAVE FUNCTION AT TUAKAU On Thursday, August 21, men of tlm Fighting Service who arc on leave, will be entertained at a farewell anu presentation dance, . arranged by the Tuakau Soldiers’ Welfare Committee, to be held in the Tuakau Town Hal . Mrs Harrison’s popular orchestra win provide the incentive to dance. Men who have been on leave anci have returned, or at present on leave are: Air Gunner W. Pirrot, Aircraftsman J. Armitage, Corporal B. Passau, Privates Syd Lapwood, G. Woolley, Ray Logan, J. C. Armstrong, Ron Sanford and Jim Crowe. . Several of the men have received a gift from the Welfare Committee, but those who have not, will receive one at the farewell function on August 21-
