OLD-TIME DANCE

FUNCTION AT TUAKAU ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT* DECORATIONS A FEATURE The Tuakau ladies' old-time dance committee brought another popular and successful old-time dance to a close at'midnight last Saturday-night. There was a good attendance of dancers and throughout the evening a friendly and informal atmosphere prevailed. Mrs Harrison’s popular orchestra supplied the music while Mr .1. Bellow was again master ot ceremonies. The stage was tastefully decorated in pink and green. The Y for Victory symbol was featured in a background of lattice work while stalely bamboo and dainty pink blossoms were grouped on tbe stage.
