CHURCH AFFAIRS.
ARDMORE PRESBYTERIANS. “BRING AND BUY” FUNCTION. The Ardmore Presbyterians held a very successful “bring and buy” function at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. Nicol recently, in aid of the local church funds. There was a good attendance and a substantial amount was collected for the church. Stallholders were as follows: Produce, Mesdames J. Nicol and T. St. Paul; cake and sweets, Misses Katie and Ethel St. Paul: afternoon tea, Mrs A. Henderson.
Musical items were given by Mrs Ken Johnston and Mrs J. McPherson. A naildriving competition resulted: Women, Mrs M. Wilson; men, Mr Jas. Crispe.
