ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

DEED—WHEELER. WEDDING AT HINUERA. x\ very pretty wedding took place at the Hinuera Methodist Church on Tuesday of last week, when Thoral Mary, only child of Mr and Mrs A. J. Wheeler, of Hinuera, was married to Vernon James Deed, fourth son of Mrs Deed and the late Mr F. Deed, of Pukekohe. The Rev. A. Rlakemore officiated, and Mr R. R. Hawke played the wedding music. Mrs Deed, aunt of the bridegroom, rendered the song 'O, Perfect Love." The bride and her father entered the beautifully decorated church through a guard of honour formed by the Hinuera school children. A graceful grown made on long lines of parchment satin was worn by the bride, long sleeves were featured and a fully flared skirt. Her veil, which formed a train, was of beautifully embroidered silk net and fell from a becoming capette of orange flowers and net. A sheaf of lilies and maiden hair fern was carried.

Miss Cynthia Pond was the bride's attendant. Her very pretty frock was of frilled net, which shaded from palest pink at the top to a deep shade of the same colour at the bottom frill. A picture hat of pink soleil felt, under the brim of which was a soft bow, was worn, and an armlet of pink camellias carried. All the bouquets were made by the bride's aunt, Mrs Deed, of Te Aroha. Mr R. Deed, the bridegroom's brother, was best man. ;

Both the bride's and the bridegroom's mother carried posies of violets, as also did Mrs J. H. Hawes, senr., grandmother of the bride, who wore a black figured velvet frock and a hat to tone. Mrs G. H. Hawes was attired in a chic navy costume and felt hat to match. After the wedding breakfast Mr and Mrs V. J. Deed left on their honeymoon tour, the bride wearing a figured nigger brown tweed frock trimmed with wine buttons and facings, and shoes, hose, handbag and umbrella to match.
