About forty Dominion delegates attending the conference of the New Zealand Association of Chambers of Commerce were accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, Mr J. H, Gunson.

In the presidential address at the opening of the business of the conference, Mr H.. W. Hudson, of Auckland, said that compared with two or three years ago the prices for our wool and the bulk of our meat showed distinct improvement.
