DROWNING FATALITY. (Per Press Association). LEVIN, This Day. Leslie Thomas Jones, aged 19, was drowmed in the Manawatu River while bathing. He was unable to swim. A 17-year-old companion named Albert Edgeley made strenuous but, unavailing efforts to rescue his mate. The body has been recovered.
