A Labrador police dog, one of six attached to the Hyde Park police patrol to help check the epidemic of assaults and robberies,, made its first “ arrest ” to-night, says the 1 Daily Express.'- .Jessie was on .'patrol' with a constable when they heard a woman’s cry" for. help. They chased, overtook, and grappled, with a man. The .constable fell, but signalled the dog, who leaped on the man’s shoulders, pinned him to the ground, and held him until the constable recovered, and effected an arrest. The man was not hurt.
