CHARITY BALL REVIVED
The Charity Ball, which was such a popular social event in Dunedin, before the war, will be revived this year, July 1 being the date chosen. An enthusiastic meeting of ladies interested in the formation of the Supper Committee was held on Alonday evening last in the O.Y.C. Rooms, Dowling street. The following office-bearers and committee were elected: —President, Airs W. Jones; vice-president, Airs R. Hungerford; secretary, Airs A. J. Dowling; committee—Mesdames . T. AfcCarteu, W. Coughlan, T. Holland, W. AfcAlevey, W. C. McDonnell, I. AlcKenzie, Clark, Day, Allan, W. Smith, J. Yule, Tarleton, Misses Alartin, A. Clancy, and M. Hnngerford.
