CAMPAIGN AGAINST ITALIAN BLACK MARKET LONDON, January 4. The Italian Government’s week-old campaign against the black market has been called off to enable'the capital to he fed, says the Rome correspondent of the ‘ Daily Telegraph.’ The police chief said he estimated that > 20,000' persons were making a living by hawking rationed goods, and had been reduced to dire straits by the sup-, pression of their trade.
