INDUSTRIAL TROUBLES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —How much longer are we going to allow a Government to exist that is ruled by such wreckers as comprise the Watersiders' Union? Unions were necessary, but they must not cripple the commerce, and bring contempt upon the people of a country which stands high the world over. Ministers of the Crown must feel very small when having to give way to being ruled, and at hea«y expense to the ratepayers. Delays in shipping, because the best .joints cannot be supplied without coupons ! What a farce ! Wake up, citizens, and dismiss the weak-kneed.—l am, etc., January 23. Hopeful.
